About the sculptor:
A Male Pixie
The 1st in my Enchanted Pixie Series!

The Male Pixie:
This male pixie sits
on his favorite chair before he ventures off
on yet another adventure.
No molds were used in the creation of this
entire piece.
He is made from no particular scale,
measuring at 5 inches from the tip of his
hat to his brown tipped boots.
Made from a mixture of polymer clay, over a
sturdy wireframe armature.
Clothes were made from also a mixture of
polymer clay that was textured, painted, and
brushed for realism.
His bag, which I am sure contains pixie dust
was also constructed from a mixture of
polymer clay.
Painting on his clothes and body were
brushed on; a NEW technique I have developed
that I find very useful and even better than
genesis paints. My brush on technique
gives this sculpture a very natural look and
seamless blend.
His wand is made from a tiny branch that the
pixie found in the woods. With some
wire, and a favorite gem (Swarovski Crystal)
he manage to create his magical wand.
He uses this wand to ward of the nasty
creatures he comes in contact within the
forest.
His hat is made from also a mixture of
polymer clay that was textured, painted, and
brushed for realism.
His black hair is made from tibetan that has
been gathered and braded.
At the end is a gold filigree design that
prevents it from unraveling.
The Magical Talking Tree:
He is most happy when he sees his pixie
friend safe and content.
This tree was constructed over a sturdy wood
frame.
Made from also a mixture of polymer clay
that was textured, painted, and brushed for
realism.
The Mushroom Friends:
They are very mischievous in nature, but do
no harm to their pixie pal.
The red mushroom: I am sure you have already
gathered that this little guy is
the most mischievous. Did you notice that
his tongue is sticking out? It is...
The orange / red blend mushroom: The tiny
one is sleeping, and the larger one just
looks
grumpy. I think it's because the little guy
snores and prevents the larger mushroom from
getting a good nights sleep.
The Garden Base:
The base is 5 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches
in length at its widest point.
The base contains a variety of mixed micro
grass and flowers.
My signature flowers are scattered around
the garden. They contain micro pollen in
their center that adds such realism to them.
They are also long grass strains that have
been individual placed on either side of the
magical tree.
The bottom of the base is painted and this
is where it is signed and numbered.
