Head Arms Legs Hands & Feet Chest

Latest

Check out my new Tutorial, just added June 2, 2006 on FEET.

Here I will post the latest of my creations as well as some tutorials.  I hope you find what I place here interesting and of some use to your creations.  Thanks for taking the time to explore.

Here is a male fairy that I will be working on and eventually put up for sale on eBay.  He is much smaller than David, the press mold, so I hope to get him the rest of him done just as well as David.  I start backwards when I create my sculptures.  I start with the head first, normally people start with the body first.  I start with the head because facial expression is everything and from this I am able to sort of determine how I want to pose him.

I still have a lot to do here.  I need to add ears, as well as clean him up.  There is still a lot of loose clay around his face.  I also have to tweak the eyes to perfection.

This is a side view of my male.  You can see a bit of extra clay at the nose area and the eye lid is a bit wacky.  After I finish doing his head he is placed in a glass case with covering to prevent the attack of lint sticking.

Extra pics of David

Here is a face close up of David.  David is a press mold to help others create male figures.  The picture below was taken after pressing one side of the mold.
